Dalgona Coffee with Coffee Jellies!


  • 3 tbs instant coffee

  • 1/2 cup +1 tbs of sugar

  • 4 cups + 1 tbs water

  • 1 oz (4 packets) of gelatine

  • 8oz of milk or milk substitute

1.) In a saucepan heat up three cups of water and add 2 tbs of instant coffee and the 1/2 cup of sugar. Stir until dissolved

2.) In a large bowl mix the remaining cup of water and the gelatine packets and let it sit for about a minute to bloom. Then, slowly mix in your hot coffee and continuously stir for a minute or two to make sure everything is completely dissolved

3.) Pour into a baking dish- I used a 9x9 square pan that gave me large cubes that could easily fit in a boba straw but if you like the smaller jelly cubes you can use a 9x13 baking sheet

4.) Prepare your dalgona by combing the remaining instant coffee, sugar, and 1 tbs of boiling water then whip with either a hand beater or whisk until thick and foamy.

5.) Serve with ice in the bottom of the glass then your jellied, then the milk and finally top with the dalgona.
